چکیده
This study examines the impact of bacterial concrete on strength and self-healing. Bacterial has better compressive strength, permeability, corrosion resistance, chemical precursors, alkalinity mechanical stress. Bacillus subtilis calcium lactate spore powder effects are explored in this study, influence form self-healing capacity to crack repair. The concentration 105 cells/mL is used with 0.3% cement. In another trial, lactates 0.5% cement lightweight expandable clay aggregate (LECA) 30% replaced coarse respectively. conventional cubes were molded dimensions 150 mm x mm, cylinders 100 200 a beam 500 mm. These specimens evaluated after 7 28 days cure. compressive, split tensile, flexural was raised by 23%, 8%, 7%, respectively when compared concrete. Thus, experimental findings reveal that at cells/ml cells substantial

Prediction of Lightweight Aggregate Concrete Compressive Strength
Nowadays, the better performance of lightweight structures during earthquake has resulted in using lightweight concrete more than ever. However, determining the compressive strength of concrete used in these structures during their service through a none-destructive test is a popular and useful method. One of the main methods of non-destructive testing in the assessment of compressive strength...
متن کاملFlashag – New Lightweight Aggregate for High Strength and Durable Concrete
A new patented lightweight aggregates is tested. This type is given the name Flashag. The only solid raw material used to manufacture these aggregates is fly ash. The aggregates are sintered but not pelletized and the process is easy and inexpensive. This paper describes these patented aggregates and compares them with other lightweight and normal-weight aggregates that are used for concrete. T...
متن کاملMODELING FLEXURAL STRENGTH OF EPS LIGHTWEIGHT CONCRETE USING REGRESSION, NEURAL NETWORK AND ANFIS
Lightweight concrete (LWC) is a kind of concrete that made of lightweight aggregates or gas bubbles. These aggregates could be natural or artificial, and expanded polystyrene (EPS) lightweight concrete is the most interesting lightweight concrete and has good mechanical properties. Bulk density of this kind of concrete is between 300-2000 kg/m3. In this paper flexural strength of EPS is modeled...
متن کاملProperties of Green Lightweight Aggregate Concrete
With increasing concern over the excessive exploitation of natural aggregates, synthetic lightweight aggregate produced from environmental waste is a viable new source of structural aggregate material. The uses of structural grade lightweight concrete reduce considerably the self-load of a structure and permit larger precast units to be handled. In this paper, the mechanical properties of a str...
متن کاملinternal curing of high strength self consolidating concrete by saturated lightweight aggregate - effects on material properties
self-desiccation is the major source of autogenous shrinkage and crack formation in low water-binder ratio (w/b) concretes which can be reduced by internal curing. in this paper performance of high strength self consolidating concrete (hs-scc) with w/b of 0.28 and 0.33 including autogenous shrinkage, drying shrinkage, compressive strength, and resistance to freezing-thawing was investigated. th...
